About us

At 10/10 Tutoring & Educational Services, we bring over 50 years of combined teaching and leadership experience across both state and independent schools. Founded by Lena Ford, a registered and specialist educator, our service is built on a strong foundation of expertise and a passion for excellence in education. Lena’s teaching career spans decades of training, experience and consultancy,  having taught students from Prep through to Middle Years.

Following her classroom career, Lena co-authored components of the award-winning iMaths series (now Math Trek), published by Firefly Education. This series was shortlisted for the Australian Publishers Awards in the "Best of the Best" Primary Student Resource category in 2012 and 2016.

As an accomplished Educational Consultant and Literacy Coach, Lena has collaborated with teachers, school leadership teams, and publishing houses, delivering professional development across various educational domains.

Lena is proud to have assembled a team of like-minded, talented, and dedicated educators at 10/10 Tutoring & Educational Services. Each tutor is hand-selected to uphold the high standards, philosophy, and practices that the center is known for and takes great pride in.

Our core belief—that every student has the potential to succeed and that good enough just isn’t good enough—drives the reputation we have earned for delivering outstanding educational outcomes.

Outside of her professional life, Lena is a mother of four and a proud grandmother to six energetic grandchildren. She finds joy in spending time with her family, working in the garden, dancing, reading, and enjoying the beauty of nature. Life truly is grand!
